Oh..Liverpool..Not Again..

Being a Liverpool fan i am supporting them since growing up i am growing bitterly disappointed with their current run of form. It all started after a fantastic 5 game winning streak which saw them score the most goals in the Premier League at that point. But it all seems a distant memory now as we have lost four straight games on the trot and things are beginning to look really dim in Merseyside.

With the visit of arch rivals Manchester United, who has now equal our League record of 18 titles and has won the last three editions of England's top flight football competition this weekend things just does not seem to get any better.

A last minute goal by Cesar Delgado has really dented Liverpool's hopes for Champions League qualification. With captain Steven Gerrard limping off with a recurrence of a groin strain he just recovered from, and Fernando Torres doubtful for this weekend's clash. There are many questions in my head as to how they are going to compete competitively this season.

I don't want to point fingers at anyone but there is a massive change needed in attitude and mentality as we take on Manchester United, who despite losing two of their main goal sources in Ronaldo and Tevez has coped really well to see them rise to the top of the league.

Liverpool have got problems, but if they can get Gerrard and Torres fit in time and if Rafa Benitez sorts out his defensive worries and dropping Lucas, we might have a chance to cause Manchester United problems this weekend.

All in all, it will be a season defying game which we cannot afford to lose and recording five straight losses would be unthinkable. Its time to dig deep and show the credentials the squad has or we are in for a really long sorry filled season.

Youll Never Walk Alone.
